Now over a week we hear chatter about it...one General explains how it happened and then another US propaganda machine aka, CNN, MSNBC, NYTimes and Bezos blog WaPo all mentioning something about it...

But what stuck in my mind was wasn't Al Baghdadi their guy but lets back track should we even believe what US presidents says when we know that they:

2019 Lavrov and Trump UNGA Speeches

I only bothered to hear Lavrov and Trump speech for all the right reasons.  While Lavrov speech is very important as the saying goes in Russia listen to Lavrov otherwise you would have to deal with Shoigu, the Russian defence minister.

Trump speech is even more important.  I think he is hitting at his local audience more than outside audience.  The so called globalist swamp.  However he addresses all the other clutter that is usually part of US president speech i.e

We have to be very careful with our judgments.  The honour killings should never be associated with proud Pushtun people who, for one never accepted uninvited guests in their homelands and fought and continue to fight for their freedom no matter what the cost.  It is the same Pushtun people who didn't hand over an Arab blamed for 911 attacks only because he was their guest and demanded proofs from a hegemonic empire and took on all the bombs short of nukes vs their kalashnikovs and here we are today, they persist and having the last laugh...revenge is best served cold!

If you noticed I didn't say Taliban I said Pushtoons.  I use the word Taliban with some hesitation as it is mixed with Pushtoon struggle to malign its name. However Pushtoon (Taliban) who came to power after defeating all the mega corrupt warlords in Afghanistan after Soviets left should have been more careful in understanding how to rule a country after achieving military victory.

I know pushtoons very well as I lived with some pushtoons from area very close to Kohestan Pakistan.  They used to tell stories about their strict environment and Jirgas.  That all sounded cool but what I differ with them is hypocrisy.

A good example of this hypocrisy became viral in mainstream media and in international media when a video came out where some girls were singing and clapping and their brother was dancing.  As a result, possibly because of the reason that pushtoon women were exposed, all the people in the video have been killed or slaughtered.

I looked at heavens and we both rolled our eyes

12th of July 2019 I went for Friday prayers after a long time.  This highly (un)likely event happened because a number of factors culminated in me ending up on that day and time to this local mosque in Canada.  I was reluctant and I was hesitant.  Consider it that Neo after all realizing that matrix is real still takes the blue pill!  I was hesitant also as I had to further postpone my very urgent project of fixing the dresser drawers of my daughter who had told me a number of time and then had stopped asking me because she didn't want to disengage me from my other stuff.  But this time I had to do it right away after finding how much difficulty this problem was giving to her as she was unable to rightly organize her things in a comfortable manner.

So I went and so the Friday sermon started, orated by a young lad with fine English and Canadian dialect.  I really hoped and prayed that I get to hear something worth paying attention too because as a keen follower of geo politics where you get high doses of dopamine, when you read the next tweet from the Trump tower who is watching over a collapsing empire, to Russia selling S400 to Turkey and Iran shooting down US drone.  So you are desensitized to anything of low intensity cheap humour or just small talk. It is like after cocaine you want heroine not hashish.

Being there I prayed (how ironic) for something useful as my little boy whom like my other children I am constantly shielding from what the crazy world is throwing at them by always making them think and critique what just doesn't make sense. And that raised the stakes by an order of magnitude as I hoped that he listens to something useful and something that doesn't impure his so pure humanistic thoughts and logical reasoning.  But my worst fears came true.

The sermon started and pearls of wisdom started trickling one after the other.  There were many but what struck as the last nail in the coffin was when he said something like this:

I came back finished the remaining work of fixing my daughters furniture and thinking and pondering and wondering if other people were thinking the same...but doesn't matter I just looked at heavens and Lord and I both rolled our eyes.

But my day ended on a good note I met my father and told him the story and he promptly conjectured in punjabi "tu Odey kole bedha sein".

The BS of feeling hunger of the hungry A.K.A the purpose of fasting

Couple of days back I was on my way to drop off my daughter to her school.  For the past 3 years this has been my morning ritual.  I get in the car turn on CBC metro morning hosted by Matt Galoway and start zigzagging and cursing and honking and violating right lane exit only and also showing V signs, taking way from schmucks to giving way to deserving and smart people.

Matt Galoway is amazing...and Ana Maria Tremonti, who comes after him sucks!...she is so full of herself and so full of her empty Canadian hoopla.  Matt though is different story I feel with him in good company and I think whole Canada respects him and feels the same.

As we know we are now deep into Ramazan and Matt invited a Muslim restaurant owner who was giving free food to anyone who came to him.  Matt starts with laying a field of roses for him.  I do not remember the exact words but it was something like this: so tell us why are you doing this?  It must be because for muslims it is a time to reflect and helping others and sharing and festivity. This must be why you are giving free food.

This was a perfect setup for Muslim Mr restaurant owner and he could have built on this premise and so I eagerly waited for an answer bringing 80% of my perception sensors to listen to the answer and that was very risky as those perception sensors are usually needed to avoid all the driving mistakes of  my own and of others usually lady drivers and sometimes of some weird ass holes in their Tercels, Versas and CRVs and who are trying to navigate to their clerical jobs in well banks and insurance companies.

But  only if wishes were horses, beggars would ride!  The muslim Mr restaurant owner says

I can debunk this myth with one single question:
Does it really take you to become hungry in order to feel how hungry feel?

In fact a 2nd one if fasting makes you feel how hungry feel when they are hungry, do you feel how rich feast when you break your fast?

Well I will add another one FYI:  why there are hungry in the first place?

So Mr restaurant owner giving free food to the needy, and all the other Mr and Ms Muslims let me explain the purpose of fasting

• Fasting is a tradition
• Fasting is for health reasons
• Fasting is to make your routine in sync with nature:  you rise up with the sun rise and you finish up your day with sunset
• Fasting is a must only for those to whom only health allows! 

For the last one let me take it to the next level if your health allows you to fast for one meal that's a fast too (wink wink thats me these days), if it allows for two meals with minimum food intake so your head doesn't go bonkers when you are doing your labour intensive or even less intensive day routine.

and lastly fasting is a month of festivities so go crazy in partying!

So there you are: Be wise Muslims it is very important especially when you are given a chance to speak :(.
