Act 1: The Setup
Scene opens in a celestial courtroom with high ceilings, ornate decorations, and an ethereal glow. A grand SUV sits in the center. On one side, Demon (Preacher Kenneth) stands behind the protection of the armoured door of the SUV, a smirk on his face. On the other side, God (Lisa Guerrero) stands with a confident posture, holding a MIC.*
God (Lisa Guerrero): (calm and composed) Welcome, Kenneth. Today, we shall discuss your activities on Earth. Are you prepared?
Demon (Preacher Kenneth): (with a smug grin) Always ready to defend my actions, dear Lisa.
---
Act 2: The Interrogation
The room darkens slightly, spotlight focusing on God and the Demon.*
God (Lisa Guerrero): (firmly) Let’s start with your luxurious lifestyle. How do you justify living in such extravagance while preaching humility and charity?
Demon (Preacher Kenneth): (leaning back) I believe in the prosperity gospel, Lisa. It’s all about faith. Those who believe and give generously are rewarded.
God (Lisa Guerrero): (raising an eyebrow) But what about those who can barely make ends meet yet still give to your cause? How do you sleep at night knowing they suffer while you live in luxury?
Demon (Preacher Kenneth): (nonchalant) Faith, Lisa. It’s all about faith. They give because they believe in the blessings that await them.
---
Act 3: The Confrontation
God (Lisa Guerrero) steps closer, her voice becoming more assertive.*
God (Lisa Guerrero): You’ve been recorded saying you need a private jet to spread the word of God. How do you reconcile that with the teachings of humility and modesty?
Demon (Preacher Kenneth): (defensive) The world is vast, Lisa. To reach as many souls as possible, I need to travel swiftly. Commercial flights simply don’t cut it.
God (Lisa Guerrero): (scoffing) Convenient justification, Kenneth. But let’s talk about your attitude towards your followers. Calling them 'demons' and 'devils' – is that how a man of God should speak?
Demon (Preacher Kenneth): (agitated) Sometimes harsh words are needed to keep the flock in line. It’s tough love, Lisa.
God (Lisa Guerrero): (with a hint of sarcasm) Tough love or fearmongering? There’s a fine line, Kenneth.
---
Act 4: The Revelation
The atmosphere grows tense. God (Lisa Guerrero) holds point her Mic to the Demon almost making it resembling a gun.*
God (Lisa Guerrero): Let’s discuss your charity. How much of the donations actually go towards helping those in need?
Demon (Preacher Kenneth): (evasively) Every penny is accounted for, Lisa. We have a transparent process.
God (Lisa Guerrero): (relentless) Transparency doesn’t seem to be your strong suit. Your financial reports suggest otherwise. Care to explain the discrepancies?
Demon (Preacher Kenneth): (angry) You’re twisting the facts! My followers know the truth.
God (Lisa Guerrero): (coolly) The truth, Kenneth, is that you’re exploiting their faith for personal gain. Is this your divine mission?
---
Act 5: The Verdict
The room’s light brightens, signifying the end of the interrogation. God (Lisa Guerrero) stands tall, while Demon (Preacher Kenneth) slumps slightly, his bravado waning.*
God (Lisa Guerrero): (resolute) Your actions are clear, Kenneth. You’ve misused your influence and led many astray. It’s time for a reckoning.
Demon (Preacher Kenneth): (defeated but defiant) They follow willingly. I’ve done nothing wrong.
God (Lisa Guerrero): (with finality) The judgment is not for me to pass, Kenneth. But know this – the light always reveals the truth, no matter how deeply it’s buried.
---
Curtain closes as the celestial courtroom fades, leaving an air of unresolved tension.
